Students

The kids came back on Thursday, so at this point I have taught each of my classes once. My AP classes are again looking like they're going to be a lot of fun. It's really too early to tell with the freshman, as at this point they are still very well behaved and respectful, because they're not comfortable yet. We'll see how things are going in a week or two. It's kind of funny how there are pretty distinct types of students, and already I'm getting impressions from some of them as to what type of students they are going to be. I have one kid that I already know is going to always be looking for me as he seems to be the type that always wants to engage in conversation with his teachers. Amazingly enough, this same kid had never done any sort of lab activity in his life, so his first day of class he got to finally play around with a little science. I find it sad that a kid can get to high school having never had a a class where he got to mess around and discover.
