School's in session

So my summer has sadly ended. It went out with a bang. I spent the holiday weekend at a dance camp. It's the same one I did last year and it was just as good this year. The classes were fun as they focused on the things that inspired the teachers in their own dancing and the basics of good lindy hop. Not a lot of moves, but a good amound of technique. I didn't perform or compete at all. For being such a competitive person I have so very little desire to do dance competitions.

Classes started on Thursday so I have seen all of my classes a couple of times and am starting to collect homework. I have 4 sections of freshman and one AP Physics (calculus based) class, which is going to be my favorite as I love the material. The freshman are still tentative and unsure. They did a lab investigating the bunsen burner and we managed to control all of the small fires. Despite my admonishments to do one part of it right by the sink with the water running, there were still a few kids left holding a burning notecard with panicked looks on their faces.
