We've been having some great weather the last few days. Collyn and I decided to eat dinner at the beach tonight, so she stopped off at KFC to get some fried chicken and biscuits on her way home. We whipped up a couple of salads and headed off. After grabbing a table where we could watch the water we pulled out the food. I started off with the biscuit, but upon grabbing the honey packet I saw something odd. It was labeled "Honey Sauce". What is honey sauce? Turns out it's high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, sugar, honey, fructose and then some other junk, including caramel color. What did it taste like? Sweet. That's it. It in no way tasted like honey.
It may sound petty, but this sort of penny pinching quality replacement is the sort of thing that causes me to stop patronizing businesses. I may refuse to eat KFC food again out of principle. Just give me the real thing. I'll even pay the extra few cents it costs.

Agreed! And I love KFC, but I also like REAL honey.
That is just sad! Sad and Wrong! how much can two teaspoons of honey cost? I think you need to start a grass roots movement to get KFC to reinstitute the use of REAL honey.
