It's the start of summer!

I finally got the boat in the water.  We went out to Deam Lake, a small reservoir lake in So. Indiana where no power boats are allowed.  I figured the river would be a bit to hectic with power boat on the holiday weekend.  Despite the steady breeze blowing in the open areas, Deam Lake is tucked back in the hills and the wind was very fluky.  At one point we turned 180 degrees without adjusting the sail.  We were the only sailboat out, although there were plenty of kayaks, canoes, and rowboats, as well as some people fishing from small boats with electric trolling motors.   We were content to drift back and forth for a couple of hours while eating lunch and lounging in the sun.

That looks like a good place.
