Too much rain

It's been pretty soggy here for the last few weeks. It's very annoying. I went to grill up my dinner tonight, and halfway through the coals heating up it started raining, so every time I stepped out to check on the food my back got soaked. We weren't able to have soccer practice on Thursday due to field conditions, and then played terribly in our game on Friday, as due to finals and then missing Thursday practice we hadn't practiced for a week. The season is almost over, with our last game on the 5th. It's been a tough season this year, due to a large roster and few games. That has meant more practices with more kids than usual, and practice with 21 kids on 1/2 of a smaller than normal field that's been muddy and wet for most of the season had been challenging. Hopefully in a few more weeks the weather patterns will start to shift but I'm not optimistic. February is usually gray and damp. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
