I went dancing up in Brea yesterday afternoon. Jonathon Stout and His Campus Five, Featuring Hillary Alexander were playing for free. The venue is frequented by a lot of the old time Hollywood dancers, ones that were dancing in movies and even some of the balboa dance pioneers. It made for an interesting mix on the small dance floor.
Since it ran from 3-7 a bunch of us went to dinner at Islands afterward. Somehow we got to talking about "your mom" jokes. At the restaurant they had the Olympics on tv. One of the guys is way into them, knows who many of the athletes are, and was really into watching it. It turns out the olympics are much more entertaining to watch with someone who is really into it, and continually makes comments that set up the most hilarious "your mom" jokes. We couldn't stop laughing and probably annoyed most of the other patrons.
