It's about time.

I got my first sunburn of the summer on Monday. Went out for a sail on what appeared to be another gray day. About halfway through the sail the sun came out and I didn't even think of sun screen. Later that afternoon I realized I had red arms and a red neck. For the last two days it has been sunny and warm. It's been really nice getting to do some sailing, even if it's just a matter of sailing away from the coast for a while, and then back to the harbor. It's certainly making me want a boat more and more. I have yet to do any body boarding this summer. With the improved access at the beach there are even more people, and I just haven't felt like fighting with people for waves. I'm starting to get low on reasons for staying in Southern California. At this point I'm going to get a resume together and start looking around for other teaching opportunities to see of something grabs me.

Nothing says "summer" like skin cancer.
