Boat Parade
After living in Dana Point for 8 Christmases I finally went to the boat parade. It's not that I haven't wanted to go before, I just never think about it and don't hear about it until after it's over. This year, I managed to think about it 3 days before the last running (it runs Friday and Saturday night for 2 weeks). Collyn and ordered a pizza, walked to the harbor, and ate pizza while watching brightly lit boats drive by. My camera lacks the ability to get really great shots as the aperture just doesn't open wide enough/the sensor is too small. I ended up just taking some videos and got some of the best boats, so now you can see some of what we saw. It's a little dark, but you can get the idea.

How fun. Instead of having to drive around to see the lights, the lights come to you. Thanks for sharing. We had fun looking at them and we especially liked the horn honking a monotone version of jingle bells as the 2nd boat passed.
