Take a deep breath

Work has finally calmed down.  After the end of soccer season a couple of weeks ago I had a string of long meetings, a one day conference to attend, and family conferences.  It meant that I was still putting in a lot of time at work.  I kept the weekends free and was able to make some progress on the boat, although it doesn't look much different as I'm mostly prepping for painting.  We've also acquired a bunch of plants, some on sale at stores, some from friends.  Collyn has been working like mad out in the yard, and we've made some pretty big changes.  I don't have any pictures yet, because it's now dark when I get home.  It's light in the morning again though, so it's a fair trade.  I've been able to get back in the gum several times a week, instead of the once that was happening during soccer season.  The weather and scenery has been terrific.  The trees are in full autumn color and it has been fairly warm and sunny.  Fall is making a big play for becoming my favorite season.  I'll try and get some pics p this weekend of everything.
